Biography
Growing up in rural Tennessee in a working class family taught me a few things about hard work and perseverance. I understand the struggles that people face when working to support themselves and their families. I worked my way through school at the University of Tennessee, earning a History Degree and graduating with honors. After which, I moved to Florida for work and after a couple of years of saving, started at Florida A & M University College of Law. While working on my degree, I volunteered at the local Legal Aid Society and earned a Law Student of Excellence award for my Pro Bono representation of the economically disadvantaged. In the summer before my third and final year of law school, a dear family member was critically injured in a car collision. So, I rushed to Tennessee to support my family. I enrolled and finished my law degree at the University of Tennessee. After which, I made preparations to move to Colorado, where my husband and I had intended to ultimately make our permanent home. After settling in here, I began representing injured victims and immediately all of the pieces of my life and education came together. I understood immediately that people need great lawyers to help them resolve these matters, so they are not further injured and victimized by insurance companies. I am proud to have served hundreds of injury victims in Colorado over the years. I look forward to continuing to provide exceptional legal advice and care for Colorado injury victims for years to come.
